New City Church is a multi-congregational, multi-site church made up of followers of Christ who gather in various locations sharing common beliefs, a common name, a common mission, a common vision, and common values.
One Church
Multi-congregational - A New City Church congregation is a local assembly of New City Church (defined above) led by a Lead Pastor who serves with a governing and shepherding body of elders.
Multi-site - A site is an extension of a congregation who gathers at a location differing from the congregation that it is a part of but close enough to that congregation that it can share in its resources and leadership. A site operates under the same Lead Pastor and governing and shepherding elder body as its congregation
Determining Site or Congregation
The planting congregation(s) determines whether the new gathering will serve as a site or congregation with wisdom and guidance from the Church Elder Team. While many factors may play a role in determining a designation, proximity to the existing congregation must play a major role.

We are leaning toward a "collegiate" type of model with shared preaching where two teaching pastors rotate between sites.
Downtown will serve as Central Offices, will be the permanent location where classes and training events take place.
Resources, including finances, and leadership will be shared - 1 congregation in 2 sites on Sunday mornings.
